3D Analysis

3D Analysis = 3D Visualization + 3D Quantification
3D visualization is an important, non-trivial, semi-quantitative, and partially-subjective approach to 3D data. 3D visualization and 3D quantification complete and cross-validate each other and give rise to quantitative 3D analysis. The main challenge is usually not in developing new programs, rather in efficiently adapting (the parameters of) existing programs (to a given dataset); visualizing the results; and understanding the results.
We offer courses in 3D visualization and then 3D quantification. The content of the recently-offered course on 3D visualization is available here as a PowerPoint file (with many embedded exercises and references):
