Newly established in June, 2024, the Synthetic DNA Accelerator Lab is part of the CZS Center for Synthetic Genomics (SynGen). |

We are committed to supporting other research groups with the long and complex DNA constructs they need for their Synthetic Genomics efforts. To this end, we are centralizing and developing infrastructure, workflows, methodologies and know-how for synthetic DNA sequence assembly and diversification. |

In addition, the lab will foster community building and public outreach to further accelerate the adoption of Synthetic Genomics ideas. We will be using in vitro and in vivo molecular cloning methods as well as (semi-)automation to assemble large, complex and diversified sequences of DNA. Projectspecific research and technology development will be conducted to accomodate our customers needs.
